Though our founder did not live to see her dream realized, with your support, this foundation, a non profit federally tax exempt 501(c)(3) organization, will continue the efforts of Rowena Moore and those of Malcolm’s family, to motivate a new generation of inspirational leaders.


There are a number of ways that you can be a part of the preservation of Brother Malcolm’s legacy (his life and the lessons we can still learn from him today) and build up our community.  You can not be content with quoting him, admiring his efforts, recognizing his sacrifice, and calling him your hero.  You must join this cause and become a part of this.

Sustaining memberships are major contributors to funding the Malcolm X Memorial Foundation operations. The Foundation recognizes this longer termed commitment, dedication, and generosity on a reciprocal basis. We grant free access to Foundation public events and discount purchases on Foundation products and services.


For just $1 a day you can become a sustaining member of the Malcolm X Foundation.  This can be paid monthly.

Donor bricks are being used to pave the landscaped plaza, paths, and the walkway surrounding the birth place. The landscaped plaza is a focal point in the ten-acre park surrounding the main plot of the Malcolm X birth place where his home once stood. Your US$100 donation to the donor brick program allows you to contribute to this legacy project that will be enjoyed by generations.


These 4” x 8” Donor Bricks are attractive clay pavers that are available with three 20 space lines to accommodate your custom-engraved individualized statement. Donors receive a 1” x 3” x 5/8” Mini replica of the brick ordered as well as a map showing the location of your piece of history.

Join the Malcolm X Memorial Foundation.  A basic membership is $25 for adults, $12 for students under 18 and just $50 for your family.  Organizations and Clubs (professional or social), businesses, corporations, departments, etc. can also join.

Donations of operational equipment and expenses are also needed.  Including: A Sound System, Computers (lap top and desk top), video camera, web technical assistance, office supplies, digital camera, and program materials.

We are also seeking donations and sponsorship for our ongoing programs (including the Malcolm X Birthday Celebration and  Black August), as well as, community engagement programs that we will facilitate from the birth place building when it is acquired or built.  Through our programs we intend to reclaim our youth and uplift our community an collective consciousness in the spirit of Brother Malik Shabazz.
