The Malcolm X Memorial Foundation is a non-profit organization headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska.  It was established to educate through the teachings of Malcolm X’s legacy on a local, national and international scale.

Mission: The Malcolm X Memorial Foundation, in concert with local, national, and international supporters of El Hajj Malik El-Shabazz (Malcolm X), endeavors to perpetuate his uncompromising leadership and contributions towards social justice.

Latest News: The Malcolm X Memorial Foundation has tendered an offer to purchase a building (see image above) adjacent  to the Malcolm  X birthplace at a cost of $250,000.  $200,000 of this purchase offer, has already been acquired.  The Foundation has a current need of $50,000 to consummate this acquisition.  Our community based economics model places confidence in grassroots fundraising.  We know a little support (say...$50) from a lot of people (1,000) is the best method to reach our goals while, at the same time, building a base of allies and community members to whom we are ultimately responsible.  If you are in Omaha, stop by the Aframerican Bookstore 3226 Lake Street to give in person, even if it’s $1.  Get a book while you are there!

This building will function as the International Headquarters and Visiting Center of the Malcolm X Memorial Foundation.  It will be the first indoor facility to house all foundation operations since 1971.  We need YOUR help to make this happen.     Please donate today.
